2021 – Present
As lead of the Discovery phase for the UX Design team, I hosted interviews with Stakeholders and Users of the Analytics Tool which provides analytics and market insights about a transaction throughout its lifecycle.
Since this was a redesign, I needed to identify the current state of the tool and why it was going through another redesign. I focused on identifying the different levels of users, along with the objectives each type of user has when using the tool. Novice users wanted a simple UI with easy-to-understand charts; expert users wanted a complex UI with custom capabilities — making requirements fall on a very wide spectrum.
After the meetings, I hosted whiteboarding sessions with Product Owners, Designers, Engineers and Architects to draft paper sketches and establish the direction of the design.
After sketching the UI on paper, I proceeded to create a lo-fi wireframe as a deliverable marking the end of the Discovery phase.
As lead of the Prototyping phase, I was in charge of creating prototypes in Sketch. The prototype was built using our component library to reutilize as many components as possible and speed up development.
Assisted Visa's Research Team to conduct in-person and remote testing sessions using the functional prototype.
After conducting user testing, adjustments were made to the prototype based on findings.
